TL;DR: My main goal of this blog: To demystify some amazing CS papers and system design topics to bring out the key intuition and takeaways for you using real world analogies whenever possible.

Unfortunately, many papers can be hard for non-experts to read and apply as they are written from the writers' perspective rather than the readers' point of view. What if we can democratize this to make it easier to understand the essence / intuition behind them, and what it really means for you.

I have found that a good way to read and understand any complex topic (e.g., a CS paper) is to write about it in your own words and with your own analogies. It is a form of "Deliberate Practice" - you get real-time feedback on what you know and what you don't know! I work as a Principal Software Engineer in Azure @ Microsoft, but this is my personal blog and all my opinions here are my own :).
